Waste Disposal Guide: Garden Waste, General Waste or Hardfill?
Know your trash. What rubbish and garbage can you put into a skip bin?
The identification of your waste type is normally fairly straight forward, however it is important because certain rubbish is prohibited from being placed in skips and also in many cases, the garbage type affects the price of skip services.
- It is important to correctly specify your intended waste type because placement of other trash may result in additional waste disposal charges after the skip is collected. The table below provides some guidelines. If you have any doubt as to which waste type your rubbish belongs, please feel free to call Silverfox Bins and we will be happy to assist you.
- When selecting a waste type (e.g. garden waste, green waste or general waste) you must ensure that no other types of waste are placed in the skip. If this occurs, you will be liable to pay for the disposal cost of disposal as general waste. Please refer to the Terms and Conditions for additional information.
